I just completed a new forum for Fraternity and Sorority affairs called Greek Talks.

I'm wondering how I can get my forum posted on in a quick amount of time. I've looked into companies but is there any other recommendations for this?

I too run a forum posting company, but my suggestion would be to open a contest and let other forum members know about it. A good number of members are driven your way by this.

    1) Hire forum posters
    2) Start a contest and lure people with attractive prizes
    3) Offer any service/product for some posts on your forum

    1. Hire posters
    2. Run contests with the organic members so they post more
    3. Run a referal contest along with posting contest so members refer more people so they inturn come and post more and participate to get the gifts u give in competition. :)
Gifts can be anything priced less but they work more and makes members loyal :D

You should start out with only a few categories and slowly expand as you grow

Quality depends on what you pay.
For 5 cents you would get some poor quality too.
In our company, normal charges are $0.14 minimum and quality assured.

Wow !!! $0.14 per post is outrageous !!! Plus, there's no way in the world a "forum posting" company could possibly be knowledgable to create quality posts for every given niche. Especially this particular highly specialized niche.

I started my entrepreneur forum as a PTP (Paid to Post) forum and was paying $0.02 per post. Granted, running a PTP forum is a royal pain in the butt because of all the nickle and dime scammers and I discontinued the PTP after a year and 100K posts and 7K members but the interesting part is my best forum members have stuck with the forum because they know the SEO value of being a part of a well maintained forum (like DP).

Honestly dman779, you have a great niche idea but the trouble with marketing to college kids is that they will go wherever the crowd is. I checked out your forum and noticed the one thing you're missing is the most important thing and that is sub-forums for each fraterity or sorority. I have a similar forum for college sports but if you look, I have it divided into Conferences with sub-forums for each school. Your forum seems to be catering to general discussion and not targeting you niche.

Also, if you were in a fraternity or sorority in college, networking through your chapter would be as easy as 1-2-3. I was a Sigma Chi (ΣΧ) at FSU and if I were working your niche, I'd contact my chapter about getting a mailing list in return for special consideration on the forum.

I agree. I had contests on both of my e-book product sites and they were phenominal. It really attracted people quick.

I'll definitley look into the forum posters, it is hard though since it is such a specific niche. I have a good advertising plan but wouldn't want to fully launch the website yet without a decent amount of posts. thanks all for your advice.

Contests to encourage posting. Hiring people to moderate as well as post. Post often your self with topics that encourage replys.
