Hi I am writing a report on which content management system to use and need some good information in regards to Wordpress Drupal Joomla I want to know the advantages and disadvantages why you would use one compared to another features etc Please Help
I haven't tried Drupal and Joomla yet, but I'm using Wordpress already 4 years and am satisfied with it. It is really easy to use and there are many plugins and great themes available for free.
I'll agree. Joomla is a very versatile CMS with thousands of extensions (some free, some not). It is a bit more complicated than Wordpress to learn to use and manage, but that's because it's more powerful in nearly every way. Do you have specific needs? I'm happy to help answer specific questions.
I'm going to put my money on WordPress. It's quite easy, both for programmers & end users and it's good for SEO.
Easiest CMS for beginners is Wordpress and it comes with many free themes... Joomla for community driven sites Magento for Ecommerce ...if you plan on expanding in the future with new features then I would go with ModxCMS. I've tried them all and Modx is a fantastic CMS... just released version 1.0 and it's going to be taking off ... Ajax features, full control over page designs (no template restrictions), internal SEO built in....
According to my opinion 1.Drupal - Suitable for small to large production sites, very Powerful, huge free modules, need bit more understanding to work but it really worth it (personally I like Drupal) 2.Joomla - Suitable for small to large sites, lot of free plugins & themes, easy to learn and work. 3.Wordpress – Great CMS for blogging, lot of free plugins Finally if you want develop small or medium sites you can try “RAZOR CMS†you can benefit from Google because it is very much SEO friendly and no need for DATABASE. Instead of it is using flat file structure. (Reminder its only for small or medium sites)
It all depends as to what you are going be putting on your site. All three of these are SEO friendly. Ease of use on each vary a lot. They all have great features of their own. Want is an advantage to you may be a disadvantage to someone else, or the other way around. From one page sites to how many pages you would like to add. Each of them have their own forums also, to help.
As I know wordpress is a user friendly cms which anyone can learn quickly and wordpress has great community with free themes and plugins. Drupal is quite hard to learn and configure. Joomla is a dying cms.
I will vote for Wordpess: It is easily customizable, User friendly, SEO Friendly (even Google loves Wordpress), thousands of plugins and themes
Wordpress by far is easier, more secure and updated regularly. 3.3 as of this writing. Many plugins and features. It's used by BIG sites with a lot of traffic.
