I once used Dreamweaver, but now switched to Expression Web. Expression web is best for CSS design.

I'm just giving Notepad++ a go. I've been using 1st Javascript Editor for the last couple of years. It's a great app but I do find it crashes/locks up a lot.

I've always found Dreamweaver a little too heavyweight.

I love to design anything and everything. I design roadway plans for 35 years using CADD the last 15 years. I design house plans with my CADD programs. I have purchased 6 CADD programs and 5 website design software programs. I have literally tried about all the top of the line software on the market and I used to use Dreamweaver. I do not use it anymore because it is not the best on the market like so many of you beleive. I purchased my lasr web design software and transferred all my dreamweaver files into this program because it provides so many more features than Dreamweaver and is easier to use. I liked this software so much I became an affiliate of theirs and promote their product to every web designer. I do not promote it for the small comission I receive. I promote it because I have used all of the softwares on the market and I know that this is undoutably the Best there is. They just won an award for best design software. I am sure that if you visit their site you will see that they are proudly displaying that award. Visit their features page at
http://www.xsitepro.com/index_r.html?p=jimdon&w=features They have 7 different pages in their site, some with videos that show you the power of this software. This link will take you to a page that has the top 88 features explained. If you purchase this software through my affiliate I will give you hundreds of templates, header graphics, buttons, snippets and wallpapers. There is a free complimentary program that you can get that will allow you to build any header graphic you desire without using photoshop or any other graphics program. These guys are really top of the line. I wish all of you dreamweaver users would check this program out and find out what you are missing out on. I did and I am glad I found this one. I am sure you will be too.

Except D.W. I use Moyea Flash VIdeo MX Pro to convert video to FLV and as it can generate a HTML file for me to add in my website. I think these two applications is enough, one for page and the other for embeding videos onto page.

By the way, I also heard Moyea Flash Video MX SDK is good, someone wants to build a video sharing site like Youtube can try it.

lol use frontpage from office, but html is a very easy programming language, you don't really need a editor, just use notepad lol, or wordpad because in wordpad text is organized. notepad and wordpad load in less then a second, most html editors take some time to load.
