    The best way to promote your forum is to make sure it's full of useful content. If there is info people want to read, they will come and read it... straight up.

    In that case you can't really do it, because they won't let you install any custom modifications. If you are serious about your forum then pay for a domain and hosting, thats the only real way to grow your community.
