your fingers. :) or you could try digixmas.com, a form filler like roboform.com, or a directory list that allows you to track submissions.

Just make sure you do the appropriate keyword research first so you know that the keywords you are targeting actually have the potential to bring in traffic. Then randomize your submission information (title, description, name, etc.) to minimize the possibility of duplicate content.

    Happy link building! :)

I wouldn't advice you to use any submission software. You should submit your sites manually but you can use form fillers to make your job easy.

snowbird himself has a cool directory list that's updated very frequently.

You can also look for blog directories at http://www.web-directories.ws/Press/Blogs/ . But I would advice you not to use any auto-submit software.

I'm a BIG fan of Roboform as well... You can hire someone on Craigslist if you want to have someone write unique content for your submissions to directories... at least that way it will be authentic.

Using submission software = not a good idea.

thanks, with roboform, do they provide list of web directories or do i have to manually input them.
say for every 100 directories i put in robo, how many minutes does it take to submit a website?

also my sites are blogs, will web directories allow blogs?

i'm not clear on how this robo form works

again, say i have 100 blogs i am promoting, i want to be able to with click of button go down list and submit all 100 without any hassle and each blog as it's own title, description and url, are you saying roboform does that?

Roboform is a form filler. Using it you would still need to go to each website and select the proper category then use the submit option. Roboform will allow you to use one click to fill out the submission form. But you will still need to fill in the CAPTCHA security codes, if present.

With Roboform you need to use a directory list. There are no import features because Roboform is not a directory submission software title. It is only a form filler and password manager, but quite useful.

Most directories use CAPTCHA to reduce spam. There are some that don't use CAPTCHA, but they are at risk of being bombed with useless spam submissions. Even with directory submission software, one must still type in the letters/numbers unless the list is cleaned from CAPTCHA directories.

If you want a tool which was designed for directory submissions and which is updated frequent;y and has opportunity to add/modify extra directories, and do all sorts of other handy functions then I personally would suggest Submiteaze. I've tried all of them and haven't really found anything else that comes close program wise, plus it also has an article submission component. It's all semi-automatic, meaning you still have to do captchas but allows you to work with multiple tabs like in ff.

However, having said that, I think at the price it comes at you'll only want to get that if your dealing with more than one site that you want to submit, otherwise I'd concur, roboform is probably your best choice.

Use your fingers and your keyboard. This is the best way and manual method is known to be the best. Just take a look at the world's best SEO experts websites, they do manual submission, you can actually add some automation which is known as semi automatic submission. You can use roboform to assist you in filling the forms more quickly.

I agree to seo-optimizer. Even In automatic submission you have put code by yourself which directories use authentication code. And directories doesn't accept automated submissions.
    So manual submission is best.
