What is best day to run a blog contest?

    What would be the best day to run a blog contest? Early in the week or towards the end of a week?

    I was thinking Fridays. Opinions?

    Early to mid week in my opinion. Most blog traffic drops on weekends, so unless you were planning on a one day contest I'd say early in the week.

    I have seen many blog contests on Friday, this is why i said Friday. But you're right traffic is known to drop for blogs on the weekends. I might do mine on a Wednesday or Thursday.

    I'd announce my contest on Friday and run it on Tuesday :)

    I'd say post it Sunday night and leave it at the top all day/night Monday. Of course, you want to keep a link to it visible at all times too.
