    Hello Friends
Bandwidth is amount of data transferred to and from a webhosting account. The most common examples of data transfer are:
    - Files and images being requested by your visitor's web browsers.
    - Files transferred to and from your domain using an FTP program.
    - Email messages received and sent from your domain.
    Thanks for reading

Have you noticed how web host advertise unlimited bandwith? That's because they know you'll never need that much anyway.

Sorry, but that is wrong and misleading.

Data Transfer is the amount of data transferred to and from a server as in the examples you provided above.

Bandwidth is the size of the line that provides the data transfer such a 10mbps (10 mega bits per seconds) or 100mbps (100 mega bits per second). The larger the bandwidth, the more data it can transfer in a given period of time.

I'll agree that sometimes these terms are used interchangeably by hosts with both terms being used to describe "data transfer", but if you want to provide a definition then it has to be accurate.

If your bandwidth is provided over, say, a 10mbps line it cannot be unlimited in the strictest definition of the word (10mbps != unlimited mbps), and it can't be sold as "unlimited data transfer" either because the speed of the data is limited to 10mbps.

A 10mbps connection could transfer approximately 3160GB of data at 100% utilization over a month, but since traffic ebbs-and-flows over the course of a day you will never reach 100% utilization.
