I have been doing webmastering for some time but I haven't really gotten into in all of the years i have been doing it.. I have always heard of backlinks but I have never actually ever knew what they are.. I know it has something to do with putting links on your site... Or is that it really is..
Backlinks are links on other sites that point to your site. For example, if I put a http://www.google.com link here, that is a backlink to Google. That is a very basic explanation. You can go a lot more in-depth when discussing backlinks, Do/NoFollow, strategies, etc.
An honest question. If you are new to this then how would you know? But you've definitely come the the right place
when you put a URL in any site you get a backlink for that's URL site,and it will increase your SEO dramatically
