I was thinking that azoogle was a combination of As and google. Is this correct? Because that would mean that what ever Azoogle is is actually trying to be like google.com but with an added trademark. So anyone please explain to me what this is.
"Azoogle, or AzoogleAds or Azoogle.com, founded in 2000 by Alex Zhardanovsky and Joe Speiser, is an online marketing solutions provider and advertising network for advertisers, publishers and online affiliates. AzoogleAds generates traffic to advertisers' websites through its affiliate network, its proprietary search technologies and optimization, and its in-house CPM/CPA/CPC Media Buying." cited from wikipedia.
As far as I understand it, Azoogle was started a few years back by two marketing guys who broke away from Google. They decided that the best way to get back at Google was to start a new search engine. But unfortunately they only had marketing skills and couldn't really program a search engine. Thus, Azoogle was born. Quite an interesting story if you ask me
I think this sums it up pretty nicely. From my experience with Azoogle, they're definitely one of the better advertising networks on the internet. When I was last using them, they valued customer service and assigned me a personal account manager who helped me with ad placement on my website. Definitely would recommend.
If this is the AZN or AZ network then wow - they don't do a very good job of advertising their service?!?!?! I have been pay-per-clicking and seo'ing for years and just now heard of them...
