Getting links from high PR sites as well as related to our niche will be considered as authority links... Am I right? I am confused, please clarify me on What is authority links?
Yes.. High PR sites are typically high cause they are "authorities".. But links need to be natural in nature and not just a side bar, footer link. By natural, they should be a real link in real content. Search engines have gotten very smart in this regard.
authority links are links from sites which have more authority factors then your site , one such factor is PR , so backlinks from established sites such as wikipedia or high pr sites are considered authority links
Authority links are links from websites that are high PR, or subpages of high PR sites. Some people also think of web 2.0 links as authority links.
