I wouldn't recommend article spinning. It is a shortcut to good SEO. Google can catch it and it is unreadable. It is better to outsource article writing and post unique content in a dofollow high PR article directory like ezine articles. In the long run it is a great investment.
This has been proven false. I've received many first page rankings with "duplicate content" and they are still on the first page after months. A lot of article spinning softwares have given article spinning a bad rep... simply because when these spinners spin a particular article, the entire piece of content turns out to be gibberish (jumbled up words that don't make sense). I'm currently using a service that's different from those bad ones and it rocks. It's called Ultra Spinnable Articles. I've been using them for well over a year and they send paying members one spinnable article every day which you can use to get millions of variations of that article. It really is nuts but I use them every day (read: outsource) and I also use the articles to build up quick web 2.0 properties with good content and my backlinks on them. But anyway, spinnable articles do work when you find a reliable service!
when you make several articles form a unique article the process is called article spinning. the spun articles have to be unique and meaningful too. then you can tell it a real spun article. thanks
Since there are already answers to what article spinning is, I would just like to add some things about article spinning tools. Honestly, I have tried using an article spinner because I was curious. After my first try, I could not even understand anything. The result just did not make any sense at all. Manual spinning or rewriting is much better, with that said.
You probably used a crappy article spinner with a crappy unspinnable article to go with it. I've been using spin articles for well over a year and received thousands of verified backlinks using spin articles. If you check out the spinning service I'm using you won't be disappointed, it's the best I have found anywhere online...
don't waste your tiem by spin your article it doesn't give you good quality content for your visitor and the backlink feedback will be lower
Article Spinning is all about varying an article so it looks new and unique to the search engines and article directories stuff, without spending the time to really create a new article.
I have disagree with you here Aurelius. I have one blog that is made of about 95%+ spinnable content and my readers love what I have on there. Plus I get tons of comments every day on this blog. Article spinning is taking an original article, and changing things like the title, and some of the paragraphs until you have a unique article to submit again
