What is Apache memory limits.

Every time i asked my hosting provider to optimzie sql and apache they simply reply me

I applied applied Apache memory limits. Lets see if this helps.

Memory limits for what? PHP scripts? Max users? What does your site primarily do?

Google is your friend, too....

 

By limiting Apache memory, you can free some space in the memory and that can be used for other operations. If you have cPanel server, you can automatically adjust the limit from WHM. Refer this cPanel/WHM article.

Not sure, but I think it adds the blow line in httpd.cnf file:

RLimitMEM 148015786

Value will be changed depending on the limit set. To remove the limit you can comment this line in httpd.conf and restart apache.

Correct and most importantly this won't work with the php files if they are running as nobody
