What Is An Incentive Site/ Incentive Offer?

I have signed up on CJ with a ringtone affiliate, Funmobile US who pays per lead.

They say they don't allow Incentive sites and I'm not familiar with this term.

What I want to do is put a WP widget on my site with the following:

    GET YOUR RINGTONE NOW!

And make it attractive, with an affiliate link behind. Would that be considered as incentive?

What does incentive mean in this case? Is it only if you say like... complete this offer and I will give you $5? Or when you tell people to complete an offer and they will get something in return?

I know CJ are strict with this sort of stuff, so I am wondering if my ad above would be alright.

it means you are giving the user an incentive to partake in the offer... if its money or whatever.

Your ad copy of "get your ringtone now" should be ok. Although I would strongly recommend you shop around various cpa companies as CJ has pretty low payouts. (plus they have many other issues)

I see, thanks for the reply!

Yeah, I actually just got approved by Azoogle last month and I've yet to send my tax form. This offer on CJ pays $12 per lead (and they only require the mobile number) so I'd be pretty happy with that; I don't have other offers to compare it to however

An incentive site is one where a member is compensated for completing a free offer, trial offer, etc.

You can pay out in points, cash, gift cards, prizes, etc.

So giving the user a reward for completing a free offer is incentive. But how about the other way: promising a free offer as a reward for an action?

Let's say there is a company that pays $100 for downloading a free wallpaper. On a blog the users are told that they receive a free wallpaper for making a comment and by hitting the submit button a window pops up where they can download that wallpaper.

    Would that be considered incentive?
