What is an 'average' CTR?

I want to see if my CTR is below or above average. Does anyone know what the average CTR is? What do you normally average?

Depends on you but generally between 3% and 7%.

 

my avg ctr is usually alittle above 1%

CTR= Click Through Rate. Most adsnese publisher got 1%-5%.

Normally its 1-5% depending upon your traffic, placement and ad specifications.

who do you "agree" with?

 

for totally goal for adsense site, 10% is avg, 50% is good (but normally ppc is low for these kind of site)
for normal blog that have lots of content, 1-3% is avg, 5% is good
for shopping etc site have lots of pictures and text, 1% is avg, 3% is good

without optimize the placing, you can get about 50% of the avg
