I have a product that i think will be a good fit for the adult site community. While I would like to advertise the product, via ads, etc, i think there is a much higher incentive for all if i set up an affiliate program, such that webmasters of adult ite can make a sweet commission instead of just a click rate.... Inasmuch, what is an acceptable rate for the referral? Any ideas? Many thanks!
I think 15% to 25% if your selling a product like toys or dvds. If your doing a service or paysite then probably a little higher.
very cool...i thought it would around that, but wasnt sure.. do you think adult site webmasters might be willing to give it a try instead of simply selling me advertising?
Some might but it could depend on if they want that guarantee cash etc... You can always offer them a higher payout then the normal one.
understood...sales is sales, right one more question...and it might be suitable for another thread if there isnt one already... is there a preferred method (script/software) of managing/tracking the affiliateship? Thanks again for the advice!
We use http://www.idevdirect.com/ at Intavant affiliate group. It's a great script to get running fairly quickly.
