What is agoga.com? Why is it in my web browser?

I accidentally typed .cm instead of .com.

Usually, when this happens, it defaults to MSN search. This time, it went to this website

    agoga.com

I tried random words and added .cm and they all went to this website.

    What is going on here?

If you check out Alexa, you see alarming traffic trends. Is this a new gimmick?

Maybe it's a virus, or you shall be directed to msn for IE if it's an unexisted url.

So I downloaded spyware/adware software, searched the web, and still couldn't figure out why this agoga.com kept appearing when typing in ****.cm

    Guess what?

.cm is the tld for Cameroon.

Had me worried about the health of my machine for a minute.

It seems someone has captured all the domains in the name server for the tld and redirected them to agoga.com.

This site has been up less than a year, yet their traffic is through the roof!

    Here is the story...

Just saw this backlink - would like to add that abunch of people have been reporting that agoga.com has been hijacking their browser, and setting the default page to point to itself, building it's daily userbase even more...
