I accidentally typed .cm instead of .com. Usually, when this happens, it defaults to MSN search. This time, it went to this website agoga.com I tried random words and added .cm and they all went to this website. What is going on here? If you check out Alexa, you see alarming traffic trends. Is this a new gimmick?
So I downloaded spyware/adware software, searched the web, and still couldn't figure out why this agoga.com kept appearing when typing in ****.cm Guess what? .cm is the tld for Cameroon. Had me worried about the health of my machine for a minute. It seems someone has captured all the domains in the name server for the tld and redirected them to agoga.com. This site has been up less than a year, yet their traffic is through the roof! Here is the story... http://www.caydel.com/typo-squatter-loses-thousands-of-dollars-due-to-missed-details/
