What is "affiliate marketing" ?

None of the above. Affiliate marketing is when you make a commission for selling someone elses product/service. Examples you have above are types of affiliate sites.

 

All of the above and a whole lot more... you can't "box" affiliate marketing like that... it's so restrictive to do so and just impossible to define in such basic terms

My view is that its marketing where you get paid for results.

And I second 'none of the above'. I think of simply 'selling' - i think of the literal meaning of 'affiliate/affiliation/partner/associate + marketing' - I am helping market a product/service/person/place/event/...

i probably asked the question wrong .. I should have asked "if you were given to choose 1 from these options for your affiliate marketing, which one would you go with".

I know there is MUCH more in affiliate marketing than the options i've put in there

however, i just wanted to see the relation of those 4 ..

I would be thankful if a moderator can change the question, since i cannot do it already
