Let’s discuss, tell me which form of marketing are you doing? Today I’m going to share with you the basic concept of Affiliate Marketing, hope that it will helps you understand better Affiliate Marketing considered as one of the performance-based marketing in which an affiliate gets rewards from companies or business owners by bringing visitor or customer to them through the affiliate’s own marketing efforts. Affiliate marketing at its very core is about relationships, a relationship between three parties: Advertiser In the world of affiliate marketing, an advertiser can be a company selling a product like electronics, airline tickets, clothing or car parts, or an advertiser could also be an insurance company selling policies. The most important thing to remember is that you are an advertiser if you are ready to pay other people to help you sell and promote your business. Publisher A publisher is an individual or company that promotes an advertiser’s product or service in exchange for earning a commission. Advertisers contractually agree to work with a publisher, then provide the publisher with creative – in the form of links, banner or text ads or even unique phone numbers – that the publisher incorporates into their website. Consumer The final component that completes the affiliate relationship triangle is the consumer. The consumer is the one who actually sees the ad and then makes an action (either by clicking a link or by submitting their information via a form) that takes them from the publisher’s website to the advertiser’s to complete the action, which we call a conversion.
It can be said to be the most easy way to make money online. You need to just drop affiliate links from the vendor and when a consumer purchases a product, you get a commission that is pre-defined by the vendor. It is as simple as that, If you want to learn more and if you are willing to learn and start your own affiliate business, you can read a lot of materials that is available on the net. @AnneJay You give a very good description of the concept of affiliate marketing. It's easy to get the point. People spread links of the vendor and get a commission on every sale. However, it's not always as easy as it sounds. You have to build a strong platform. For example, a Youtube channel where you learn people how to fix a flat bicycle tire. In the video description you could put affiliate links to vendors who sell bicycle tires.
It's basically the promotion of somebody else's products or services in exchange for a percentage of each sale. Here are a few ways to promote affiliate programs: 1.) Add affiliate banners onto your website 2.) Review and recommend affiliate offers in an article 3.) Directly link to your affiliate link and use ad networks to drive traffic 4.) Use pop-ups on your website that open an affiliate offer 5.) Create a landing page that is focused on promoting a single affiliate offer 6.) Create a "top list" and recommend your affiliate link as the "best option" 7.) Build a list, nurture that list and "recommend" affiliate offers once you have their trust As always, make sure your promotional methods comply with the rules. By law you're supposed to disclose to your visitors that you are an affiliate that receives compensation from the products and services you promote.
Affiliate Marketing is a type of performance based marketing in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought by the affiliate's own marketing efforts. Affiliate Marketing overlaps with other internet marketing methods to some degree because affiliates often use regular advertising methods. Those methods include organic search engine optimization, paid search engine marketing, email marketing, content marketing & in some sense display advertising.
In affiliate marketing, almost 90% things that will decide whether you success or not are SEO and Traffic. So at the first time running, I think we should focus only to SEO (White hat SEO) for our long term business. WHen you have your keywords get on top SERPs then you will get many organic traffic and sales/leads. Good luck to you,
Of course traffic is important. But you have to fill the website with quality content. Otherwise all attempts to get traffic will be in vain. When you create a website you should create it for humans. People should feel empowered by your website. That will generate more visits. If you create a website just for filling it with ads and worthless content, it will have no success.
I am also in affiliate marketing and i prefere it because its a huge indusstry and its pay way more compared to cpa where you get like 1,50 per action
Yeah but with CPA if the user is performing an action he doesn't have to use his credit card..but affiliate marketing does pay more..
It is one of the best ways to make money online. However, like someone mentioned above, traffic (targeted) is everything. Anyone doing affiliate marketing or starting out should understand that you have to provide value to make sales. You cannot just put banners and wait for sales. You have to work hard to get it.
Certainly, you will also need unique and high-quality content to get it goes viral and drive more organic traffic to your site.
I think while doing Affiliate marketing, beginners can learn little bit of SEO too, which will eventually help in their personal website/product to grow in future.
