What is a VERY simple CRM

Hey guys, so I'm in desperate need of a simple CRM or something that allows my customers to register then I can go in a CP and add there current projects and update the progress on there projects, I want them to be able to log in and view the ETA of their projects.

Basically something that fetches the rows of projects under the user id logged in and displays the columns with ETA, name, and description of project.

Is there any simple type of script out there already? If there's a more complex script or similar script that can be stripped to make it like this it's cool, I don't mind stripping it, I just need something that can accomplish this or similar.

Any input is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Go check out www.opensourcecms.com and demo their systems. What may be simple for me may be too simple for you etc.

I think he's looking for a CRM (customer relationship management) software not a CMS (content management system)

I would recommend you vTiger, it's open source and easy to use. If you check their website you'll be able to try the demos.

sign up for zoho (zoho.com) and use zoho creator.

a CRM is available but you can customize it or make your own from scratch...very easy to use and you can make it as simple or complex as you want...great reporting features too

    d'oh!
I've been using SugarCRM and while it's amazing it's not simple to maintain. Easy to use I reckon - but it looks tricky and my husband found it OTT

Edit: I've just checked out zoho and it's amazing. It doesn't give some of the flexibility I've looked for in applications in the past but my requirements these days are simpler and it's the biz. Who are zoho though, and is my data safe with them? I do tend to prefer self hosted apps.
