It sounds to me like you don't have enough experience to know when you've been sand boxed, bad rankings in search results is not always down to the Google sandbox.
My experience it that the Google Sandbox is where you are put if you are considered spammy. I have gotten brand new sites less than 30 days and ranked in the top 5 for two word key phrase with 4+ million search results.
