What is a reliable site to buy Domain Names from?

Hey, as some of you probably know...I'm planning on building a site, and to build a site I need a domain name, so I was wondering if any of you have a good reliable place to buy Domain names at a reasonable price? (I'td be much appreciated if they could reserve them too).

    Thanks in advance

There are a billion places to buy domain names. GoDaddy.com or through your hosting company maybe?

Well I don't really own a company and I'm not making my site about one...So basically you're saying Godaddy is the most reliable source?

    What about bluehost.com ?

Some guy posted them on another forum...and they seem too good to be true!

And btw, could someone please explain to me what "10 GB Traffic" means? XD Or more productivley: how many people would it take to fill 10 gigbytes of traffic?

I'd suggest you go with Name.com. Their prices are low, great support, and they recently revamped their website. I have been using them for years now.

You guys have been a real help so far :) Just the final things I need pointers on:

A friend of mine reccomended bluehost.com and they seem pretty awesome...now the site I'm planning on building will have LOTS of pages (around the thousands) (mostly pictures) so I'll need some pretty good server capacity...So again, could someone please check out bluehost and tell me if its a good site for my needs? (I'm really paranoid about my choice and I'd like to know what the proffesionals think of the site).

And thank you very much for the coupuns Micksss :D

Domainsite.com and Namecheap.com have the best userface and support. I always take DomainSite.com though since I get a real person in 10 seconds on the phone. They are awesome!
