What is a really good hitcounter/stat tracker?

I use Activemeter, but it has such a tiny log size on the free version....

 

you might want to try statcounter or google analytics.

AWStats is good too.

 

Do you use Wordpress?

I use StatTraq.

 

Google Analytics is awesome. It has everything you need and more, for free.

 

I'm a big fan of GA,the best one out there I believe.

So are the stat's that I receive from Hostgator to be trusted?

 

I checked out all of these. Other than GA, all of these suck. At least Activemeter has an invisible counter option in the free editions. Google Analytics does not show where each individual visit came from, how long the individual stayed at the site, the site entry page, exit page, URL and location of each individual page visit.

I guess I will have to upgrade my Activemeter accounts so I get more log space.

 

Stat Counter works well for me.
