What is a proxy site?

    It's a website that lets you anonymously browse websites without revealing your IP address. Mainly it's used for people that want to pass filters at school or work.

    They can be quite the good moneymaker if you know how to run them.

    They promote them and then they monetize em by placing ads btw you can place adsense only on homepage and not on proxified pages as you dont own the content shown on proxified pages.

    That's right, you can't place Adsense on proxified pages but you can put Adbrite on them.

    Are there any guides on making 1 of these.

    I have a lot of visitors coming to my site looking for these and i point them to other people proxy sites.

    May as well make my own.

    just one find a bloody good host that can handle them took me ages to find a good host for mine in my sig as it averages 6000-7000 uniques a day
