What is a PIN?

Waiting for my first AdSense check, exciting!

Finally my earning reaches 100USD today, I am so exciting and curious at the same time. I worry that I do not receive my hard earned money.

Am I right?

What is a PIN? How I get my pin? Google emails me or mails it to my home?

 

Google will send PIN via American post to validate Your home address. Then type it on Your A account.

 

When? When my earnings reach USD50.00? My earnings now already reach USD100.00 but I still haven't receive any pin mailed to me!
Where to enter the pin code? I don't see any text box in my account page to enter the oin. Does this mean that Google has't mailed me the pin?

Mail them and find out.
They will immediatly send PIN once ur acc reaches 50$.

 

Like I said before, NOT email but traditional post. It takes a month sometimes.

I 'v just got mine. You will only received once. It is used to verify your address. A postcard with the pin number will mail to you in the first two month. After you received the pin, type it in google.
Usually after they send out the pin, a box in red color will show up on the report page saying your payment is being hold for further action

 

They send it when you reach 50$ for the first time. The you must wait and be patient.

 

I am out of US.
I do not know how to request a new pin because I don't see any 'request a new pin' link in my payment history page!

 

PIN is personal identification number , 4 numbers, when you reach 50 US dollars, Google will send you a letter by "snail mail", the classical mail system. You should see in the Adsense window a message like "An action may be required before receiving payments." Not exactly like this, it was a while ago when I had to do this.

The mail usually comes in two weeks, I got it in a bit over 3 weeks. If you don't receive it in 4 weeks, it's safe to assume you won't receive it, mail them and ask them to issue another code.

When you receive the code, all you have to do is to click on the My account tab and look for the place where you can enter the PIN.
