I just made an advertising deal with my investing site, and they want a Media kit? (I guess traffic, demographics and what not) BUt I am not 100% sure what one is and what it includes????

    Is it a marketing package?

I am pretty new, so I am not sure how to make one up.

Thanks for any help you all can provide!

You're right. It's a basic site demographic and corporate profile package and often advertising rates are included.

You might want to look for examples of media kits. For examples of media kits, search for "news media kit" which will show you many of them. Why try to create something without looking at what other sites are doing?

There are two basic examples of media kits from the Online Press Room / Media Kit area (under PR writing) on my business site - www.jhmattern.com. If you look at my packages there, you can see a general listing of some things that are supposed to be included. It might help you in making your own.

But it sounds like what you want is more of an advertising kit than a media kit (they're often used interchangeably even though they're not quite the same - you can see a list of some common components on that same page I mentioned above). You can include it directly on your site, or via a .pdf file (the most common formats at least).
