What is a lot of traffic?

well, for me 1k unique / 30k pageviews daily is a lot of traffic. Hope will break it in December.

 

It depends on your niche.

My highest compititor earns around 90,000 unique visits a day and smaller compititors earn around 40,000 unique visits a day. For me, anything above 30,000 is considered a lot. 10,000 visists would merely be 'decent' in my field.

 

I've never seen anyone "array" the values before - is that legit and does it actually work as implied - i.e. it will rotate through those colors randomly?

 

It's ligit all right... comes from the adsence blog or forum or whatever google support center. I'd never post something that is not acceptable and risk getting someone in crap. Been using it for over a year now...

For my main site i'd be very pleased with 1000 UV's, that would probably see me earning around $100 a day

That's news to me. I never knew that I could add more then a single color to the adsense parameters.
