What is a lead for affliate marketing? I logged into my cj account and it said this for the yahoo program

    Sale: 20.00% USD, $2.50 - $90.00 USD
    Lead: $0.50 - $15.00 USD

Depends, usually is a registration made, but also it could be a program downloaded, a filled questionnaire, etc.

Also most purchases are considered Leads at networks anyways.

CPA/CPL/CPS is all the same thing in my opinion. CPS is slightly different though I guess, but is a form of CPA and CPL anyways.

Confirm with your affiliate manager that way you know and don't waste time or money.

A lead is a visitor who takes some action on a website other than completing a sale. A lead could be a mere visit, filling of a form, staying on a age for some period or clicking a link.
