What is a hack used here to make restrictions to have a signature and live links?

    As I can see at the rools http://forums.digitalpoint.com/faq.php?faq=signatures :
    Signatures and live links within posts are not available to users until they have been a member at least 7 days, have positive (green) reputation and have at least 10 posts.
    What is a hack installed here to make restrictions to have a signature and live links?

    It's something built in-house... but I would assume there's something similar on vbulletin.org...
