Hello all, I am looking for a good WYSIWYG editor preferably free, that I can move things around with mouse for example adsense ads. My current wysiwyg(website editor) editor is called Site Studio, but the thing is while being pretty easy to use, I have very low control of things. Currently I cannot paste my google adsense ads on it, and if i go to my web host's control panel and try to paste the code within that complicated programing thing, the ads show up on the bottom of my last line of text or graphic...basically I have no control of where I want to put my adsense ads, If for example I want to put a sky scraper, and this paragraph would be content, the sky-scraper banner would show up like this S K Y S C R A P E R Instead of being right on the side where i wouldve liked to have it... So what I'm looking for is a preferably free website editor, I have almost very low knowledge of html, and the website editor I'm looking for would ideally be able to havethe folowing things: 1. Have a friendly user interface 2. Be able to paste html code into it of my website, and be able to see it in real time (some editors i think have two pages side by side one html code the other next to it is what you get from that html-the visual image) 3. Be able to drag and drop rectangles or stuff like that, for example move around my adsense rectangles to the place that I want 4. No need to be gadget packed since, and preferably free Thank you very much for helping!!
What you need to do is create a div element and give it a "float: right" property to get your ad to float to the right. As far as an editor, I recommend dreamweaver...I use notepad++ and I'm sure that's NOT what you're looking for, so I'm not all too familiar with the wysiwyg editors out there these days.
Ok, still need to hear more voices out there but thanks for replying! Also when i say i have low knowledge of html, most i can do is erase a link of graphic/image like counters linking to another site for example, i can erase that link, apart from that I can copy/paste html but nothing much else.
WYSIWYG editors don't really (that I know of) let you just grab objects and move them around the way you are describing, even the most "non-code-friendly" editors (again, that I have seen). I would either learn html and css or pay someone a small fee to take care of your site design for you.
i have used RV sitebuilder templates HERE 500+ tempates with spaces at top sides and footer to paste adsense and affiliate codes into. let me know if you want to try it, and ill set up a free test site for you to play with
Cool, does this work? ------------ Update: I have just discovered frontpage editor, by going at my website with internet explorer, i clicked on an icon and put my website directly on the editor! It is a cool straightforward platform to work with, but the thing is I cannot move or adjust banner ads and results are the same. I have contacted adsense and my hosting company, let's see what they say.
I think that you need something like that: http://www.nextedit.com/ Well the only problem is that you have to pay for it. But its cheap. However I never used it to tell you my experience but I am thinking to buy it soon.
Yea, next edit seems to be very nice and easy to use but is it better than frontpage? Frontpage is similar, you go to internet explorer, go to your website url, and click on frontpage link, it hsows up your website on the editor instantly
