    I recently bought uploadscript.com from godaddy and I'm looking to run and test all scripts I can for ideas. I'd like to get as many ideas as possible. The main thing I'm looking for is ajax examples. One of the main features I want to push is ajax uploading, the testing page will be located here. But right now it's just a default design (design is in development)

    Thank you very much. Everything works until I try to download a file. On the final page, the browser gives a general error saying the files doesn't exist. It's in the folder called "storage", but the name is encoded. Do you have the documentation that came with it or any thoughts? uploadscript.net seems to be defunct.

    I'll only be using it for my family, and that just a few times a year. So free would be ideal. It doesn't have to be fancy at all. Just a simple way for someone to upload a file and another to download. I have "unlimited space and bandwidth", so I might as well use it for this. Thanks.

    In that case, why dont you give FTP access to a definite folder and create FTP accounts for that folder only. They can upload and download via FTP if they are just family members.

    If you still need a file script then you can check this

    There was one more free script which was yet simpler but I forgot the name or link. That was many years ago.
