What is a good html site with lots of sample codes to use?

    Hi, would someone know and can recommend a site that displays or offers alot of sample codes which we can use and customize on our sites for free?

    XHTML codes that we can drop into our templates and with some modifications...to suit our needs? Sometimes its very hard to create an effect or modify a layout without being a master of html/php/css
