Hey Guys. What do you think is a decent CTR for Adsense ads? I've been getting around 0.50% or less. This could be due to a bunch of the impressions coming from me but what do you guys think is a decent CTR.

I want my traffic to be as successful as possible since its very difficult to generate traffic.

I try to keep my ctr around .7-3%

Anything more then 5% I think is much too high.

Would you get a warning from Google if your CTR is higher then 5%? What if your ads are just that good?

I don't know if I'd call it a ton... Better than many, not as good as some. $1265 last month. $310 so far this month.

It also depends on how many impressions a day you are getting but 10% sounds much too high to me.

@f11 - it is what it is... I don't have control over how many people click my ads. My CTR has always been that high from the day I launched my site. I just have very targeted ads and traffic. I supposed I could lower it by driving a bunch of worthless traffic, but why would I want to do that?

@michael - my website (not a blog) is about 6 weeks old.

From my experience a good CTR is anywhere between 2% and 5%

Ummm, I would say 100% is good, although nobody has probably ever gotten that average. To all who say the low 2% to 5%, why would you set your goal so low?? Aim high, with a goal of at least 25%. I can't reveal my ctr because my site is in my sig, but I don't think 2 to 5 percent is "good". JMO.

Well of course everyone would love to get 25% CTR but is that realistically possible. I don't know. Maybe if you have your ads very well placed in your site and you have quality traffic coming to your site then maybe it is. I will definitely work on it for my website and see if I can slowly increase my CTR.
