I don't know much about what a good CTR is since I mostly pay attention to CPC. What is a good CTR for Adsense?
If you have really good traffic then CTR doesn't matter, even if it is high. A good CTR is between 5-10 IMO, it may vary for different people with different niches.
The CTR is highly dependent on the position of the ads on page. But a good CTR in my opinion is around 3-5%. For ads well placed in the 1st screen CTR can get even higher. My average CTR is about 1.5%-2% but I try to be keep the sites as clean as possible.
Ben, what do you mean by "might be in trouble". May you want to share more information regarding this? I've seen CTRs above 10% in the past months, which of course are suspicious, but so far so good.
That is a very hard question. good CTR is around 2-5%....Each site will have different CTR. If people design a site with content that people actually like, then the visitors are less likely to click on ads. But if they create sites where there is no relevant content but a ton of ads then the CTR goes up. If you are looking for comparisons between the different types of ads it is best to just do some trial and error, try each type for a week.
hi I have created this weblog in the blogger since 7 month ago and it has been registered in U.A.E and there has has considerable visitors as well for the weblog. but the "AD sense" option has not been activated yet. Kindly, guide me through having it activated.
According to me, good CTR is between 3-5%. But you do not have to worry of you have high quality web traffic and your ads are listed good pages of search engine.
Hi, Google has confirmed our blog, then we entered into our ad-sense account to get the ads. codes, but there were no ads. Links (html codes) that we could place them on our blog. Please help me how to receive those ads. html codes. Best Regards
It's probably fair to say, none of them have a clue what they're talking about. OP, do you want to know a "good" CTR or a "safe" CTR?, they are 2 different things. Here's a quote from the Google product forums that pretty much sums it up. https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/adsense/l85NA6t-H28
It depends on what kind of website you run ,which traffic you get,for example, the website with traffic mostly from search engine has a higher CTR,in general forums has a lower CTR.
