    Wrong start dude.
Do not make sites depending upon CPC. These are called MFA (Made for AdSense) sites.
Start with something you can write about personally ... fresh content.

Thanks... that is what I wanted to do, but everywhere I read on here people are saying "bad idea its a low paying niche"

Seems they favor CPC more than content

I want to argue with you Mr. Gill :)

Give me one good reason why I shouldn't make a site that targets a high-CPC niche, if I haven't yet created the site and I'm either buying the content in or I don't care what I write about. No sane person would choose a low-paying niche against a high-paying one unless they're very angry at money.

Another reason to go with a high-CPC niche is that even if you choose to ditch Adsense at one point and start doing affiliate marketing - odds are that the niche choice will pay off there as well.

As for the original question - your best bet is to play around with the Adwords Traffic Estimator tool (https://adwords.google.com/select/TrafficEstimatorSandbox) and see how much it would cost to run an ad on several batches of keywords. The more expensive it's run the ad, the higher your CPC if you build a site that targets those keywords.

But keep one thing in mind - at times it may very well pay off to go with low to average CPC keywords in case the competition is low. Your goal is finding a high-paying keyword with low competition, as most extremely high paying keywords also have extreme competition and you just won't get any traffic.

    Hi there bryanon,

Why i am saying to forget about high paying niche is because the asker seems to be new to this field. High paying niches like health, finance, loans are very difficult to write upon. And there is so much competition, newbies are likely to fail. Start few less competitive niche (which will be low paying niche of course). gain experience and then move forward.

But if you want to buy content, i say pick mesothelioma topic:D
