What kind of conversion rates are you guys having? I have almost 300 clicks and no conversions.

    Any ideas?

You might be barking up the wrong tree. What I mean by that is, it's probably less dependant on the platform (Amazon), than on the site itself. Post your url . . . happy to take a look. Amazon can deliver traffic . . . that does not necessarily translate into conversion.

It depends on the kind of traffic you are getting, if your visitors are people looking to buy you will have a much better conversion rate than if your visitors are just looking for information.

From direct clicks on blogs etc. I get about 5 to 10%, but from an Amazon store I get at least 20%

I too average about 3%-5% across a range of sites over the years, so I consider that a realistic baseline that's been very consistent. What's changed over the years is people are more comfortable shopping at Amazon so conversion has inched up over time. But ultimately its about your niche - some categories are 'Must Have' life and business essentials - and others are things people 'Dream About' having, with far lower conversion ratios.

I would be interested to know if Amazon filters out bogus clicks. e.g. people clicking again and again manually, or even search engine bots following links.

I hope they do filter it out but occasionally i see such a spike in clicks that it has to be some kind of bot going crazy on my site.

Anything above 5% is extremely good. 3-4% is good too.
