Well i was thinking of what is a good affiliate program for a free hosting forum I was thinking something in the CPM Area so i imediately thought fastclick but it is agaist there TOS For a webhost to host fastclick ads and ads to be placed on forums. My Site currently makes about $.020 to $0.50 per day from google ads but i will require more profit so i can host a better service(meaning more advertising dollar and more free givaways) for my free hosting clients and forum members also some profit for my self. So do you have any suggestions that can help me. cheers
It's against Google Asense TOS to state what you earn, just so you know. With regard to what type of affiliate programs you should use, first figure out what your visitor demographics are and target that type of visitor. Fastclick pays out VERY little, you would need a huge amount of traffic to get any decent income from that program. You should probably go the affiliate route. By the sounds of it though, it seems you need to work on getting more traffic first.
What forum are you trying to improve revenue on? What level of traffic do you have? I have a few forums with banners and Adsense ads, forums don't do as well as content pages but there is some decent income in them and you can usually squeeze a little more income with ad color, placement, and sizing adjustments.
well my site is sferahost.com and i will experiment on the ad color of google. But the majority of my members are under the age of 18 and my site is a free host so that shows that i cant really run and commission typed programs. so anyother suggestions
