What is a C Class IP? and How Does it Affect SEO?

    Hello guys, pardon me if I posted in a wrong category but i believe this is the best place to post my question:

    My Question is: What is a C Class IP? and How does it affect my SEO Efforts? Or does it affect it at all?

    To understand what a C class IP address is, consider the following example.
    201.34.25.41 and 201.34.25.42. Over here, there are two IP addresses that are both located on the very same C class IP address. In other words, those backlinks that are linked to each other from such IP addresses would be of no use as they would be immediately banned by Google. But consider the following type of IP addresses
    201.34.25.41 and 201.34.26.41. Here there are two different IP addresses that are used as a means of interlinking with each other and then augmenting the overall page rank of the main website. In this case, the algorithms of Google will not blacklist any site mainly because each C class IP address is different. This is in essence just what exactly the C class IP address is mainly all about.
    There are nowadays many different types of webmasters that are utilizing such C class IP addresses as a means of ensuring that their websites can do much better in a search engine.One of the greatest benefits that can be associated with the using of such types of C class IP address hosting is that one can start the process of creating multiple blog farms.

    any ip address its divided in to 4 parts – AAA.BBB.CCC.DDD. Third section is called Class IP...............many webmasters started creating multiple website on same server and linked each other to increase the sites backlink and ranking. Search Engines identified this issue and started avoiding links coming from similar IPs – given its easy to get different D class ips on same server, Search Engines also started avoiding Links from same C Class IP..........a link coming from same C Class IP on which your website is located, the backlink will not have any importance.

    I see, so indeed IP addresses or the server where you have the website hosted will matter also in SEO especially if you make multiple sites on a single server and link them together...Got it guys thanks so much!
