I'm confused on the Google term, "Bridge Page". I'm setting up a affiliate landing page. When a user clicks on the page to get to the merchant page, it redirects through another page that Im using for Google Analytics. Is this allowed under the affliate requirments for Adwords?
Hi I hope this page will help you about the bridge page in affiliate marketing. http://www.a4uforum.co.uk/archive/index.php/t-51233.html
I wonder why is this bridge page allowed: (found this on the the search engine result pages) http://www.gold-secrets.com/warcraftcb.htm?hop=dcomp22
That's not a bridge page. That's just a aff link. Google allows that if you're doing Adwords. I know that you can't do a automated redirect from a domain page to a aff page, but I AM wondering still about the term "bridge page", and I'm wondering if my setup: pre-sell page/my domain (user has to click) --> redirect/analytics page --> aff landing page violates the TOS. Anyone?
Bridge pages are simply "doors" into the real website, and they're optimized and fine tuned for one or two keyword phrases only. Everything on those pages, in the body of the page itself and in the tags, points to those keywords.
So, I can't use a landing page that emphazises, "comco blue widgets" for my "widgets" aff page? Is that what you're saying?
