    In a simple word which is understand by every one back links are those links which is comes from any other website to your website, i thinks you well know about that. I would like to ask one question what is different between google back links and back links.

    backlink in all search engine..and if specify google backlink means backlinks which google count..google counts quality backlinks

    Back link is actually the number of other sites linking your own website. The search engines use back links as a vote to rank sites, where as the site with the highest number of back links is believed to be more popular.

    You can use google to search for "what is back links" and read the article it will pull out.

    This is the dumbest thread ever. He asked what a backlink was, and when people answered, his response was to "read the question." WTF?!? Ask the question!!! Is Google a backlink doesn't make any sense. This get's my vote for WORST THREAD OF THE DAY!!!

    The one that has the actual link in it - so the second one is a backlink. A backlink is a actual link from one website to another website. Google sees backlinks as votes of confidence to a website. The more links you have the better Google will rank you in its index.
