What internet marketing tasks would you like to see automated?

    Hey everybody,

We all know that there are so many strategies to make money online, however, many people don't succeed on making even little money. I think that's because many tasks in this business are repetitive and boring. People just don't stick to it and never reach the point they actually make money from the strategy they try to implement.
So if it was possible to automate these boring tasks, what would you choose? Has there been a strategy that actually worked for you but you just didn't continue because at the end of the day slamming your head against a wall seemed like a good idea?
    Please share! :)

    Hey there,

I think its really just dependent on the individual. But for me, i know i love to automate link building and article writing lol.

I'm the type of person that much rather prefers focus on optimization, and relationship building.

If you hope to be successful, you need to invest in a Mailing List using something like Aweber. This will automate so many things that you'll have plenty of time left to dance and frolic in the streets after a hard days work. A good tool to manage your mailing list will do half the marketing for you.

That being said, I don't recommend losing money on a mailing list. If you're not making any money, focus on writing quality content or creating a product that is valuable. This is the key first step.

Something like Aweber will cost you 20$/month. If you're making 0$ right now, it's too early to invest. That being said, you need to invest in building up a mailing list as soon as possible.... :)

That's the tricky part. What you need to understand is Aweber will not make you money. You need to have the content or the product ready first, THEN using a tool like Aweber can help you generate money with the material you have already created.

    Hope that makes sense!

Don't rush yourself. Create a good foundation, then ride the roller-coaster!

If it was me, I'd say the writing part. Writing press releases, articles for web 2.0 sites and article directories, and also email writing. The writing process takes time especially when you're trying to put out good content. Automating this process would be a huge time-saver but the output isn't usually what you want in my experience.

One thing I'd like to see automated is record-keeping in terms of what link I've put where. It's a simple matter of filling in the slots in an Excel or Open Office spreadsheet. but it's just one task I very much have difficulty contemplating, much less doing.

It would have to be writing and back linking. Back lining , if you are doing it properly, is so time consuming.

I automate a few things..but automating things like social media posting and forum posting, and also classifieds would be really helpful. Automation is key in helping you grow as a business owner. As long as you do it right and you're not coming across as a robot!
