What influenced your directory name choices?

For my first one as an example pulsedirectory.com, well i thought pulse as in alive, beating, still going, existing, and also because i hadn't seen a similar directory name.

I chose another, webfestdirectory.com because i could have both keywords in the domain and putting in "fest" between them actually made sense to me.

Why did you choose yours?

 

"Mishre" sounded unique enough so I bought it. I go for the branding

 

Well i am starting my first premium paid dir with the name http://www.sutradirectory.com/

Wanted to have something mystical and that was the best i could think off and also wanted to have the work "Directory" in it

 

Hamsap, true Mishre does sound unique, branding is good im not sure how to pronounce Mishre.

kiviniar, sutradirectory sounds nice, i made sure that i included "directory" in each of mine too.

 

after getting nspired from aviva and alive names, i thought of some nice and genuine name.. so could not get better satisfying for me than www.nobledirectory.com

 

Magx seemed like a cool name when I bought the domain way back. It was only later did I turn it into a directory.

 

Sutra means tomorrow in Serbian

 

Fourfind was influenced by the categorical structure so the directory is more targeted for webmasters/visitors.

The ability to "find" in 4 distinct categories of blogs, directories, forums, and websites.

 

So i guess, "With Sutra you donot have to worry about your tomorrow"

I am basically looking at is as web scriptures and well these names do tend to stick

 

I wanted to take mobilemob but it was taken so I choosed mobilemost.

 

In Hindi Sutra means Formula, It also means 'String' that binds (links) things.

So, it's good name for your directory.

 

right now my Directories either have my name in them or Health
