"Tiscali S.p.A., (Borsa Italiana, Milan: TIS, Euronext, Paris: 005773), is the European Internet Communication Company providing broadband and narrowband access for consumer and business applications as well as innovative communications services and contents.

As of 30th June 2005, Tiscali had 4.8 million active users in Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK and the Czech Republic. 1.4 million were broadband customers, of which 250,000 received unbundled services."

    from http://www.tiscali.com/about/

They probably have a search engine that's the default page for their subscribers, kinda like AOL

Just be glad you're getting traffic for them...unless it's unwanted? Are they hotlinking one of your images or something?

Do you know what keyword? Then you could type that keyword in to their search and see if you're number 1 or something.

it is powered by google, maybe u have had a major climb on the datacenter that tiscali uses for some keyword, check your keyword referrals

i checked, nothing seems to have skyrocketed. i have a few keywords in the 1000's and then a TON in the 500visits sent range, so really its hard to notice when new keywords show up. i checked all my major keywords in good and no change there...

maybe "Tiscali" uses a differant version of google than the usa?

Its possible, especially with all the big datacenter flux's recently. If it is, make the most of it coz it could well stop when google decides to change DC results again!
