hey! well,im advertising some campaigns at adwords and i got more than 200.000 views, 111 clicks,i have spent $22.42,but only got 3 leads,and each lead gives me only $1,50. what im doing wrong? somebody can give me tips? im wasting so much more than im getting,and 111clicks to 200.000 views is bad,uh?
Is it 200,000 impressions? In that case, your CTR is really poor. I presume you are using content searches. Try to start a new campaign, disable the content search and go for search traffic (Google search engine and other partner search engines) only. The CTR is better. Always start with search traffic first, ie disable the content search in the options interface. The idea is to find out which are the most searched and targeted keywords. At first, it may be expensive but once you know which are the ones that give you the best traffic and CTR, start to switch to content search ONLY. Try that. Also, work on improving your keyword list and ad. I suspect you have a whole lot of non-performing keywords.
my content network is already disabled ( 1 week already),but the CTR still bad.=( thanks for the answer
If it was easy, everybody would be making money with it ;-) Don't expect over-night success. This takes hard work, and some real clever thinking to really make a run at it.
It's hard to say what the problem is without seeing your site and without knowing what the product is you are trying to promote. Obviously the traffic you are getting isn't converting well. This could be down to a poor sales page, poor product or you are targetting the wrong market.
3 important factors that we would need to look at. 1. Your keywords your using in your campaign, which are good and which are dead weight. 2. What your ads say and what titles you are using 3. What landing page or pages you are using for this campaign. This is not easy, it takes a lot of testing, researching, testing some more and of course trial and error.
well, im promoting different capaings, about satellite tv,free ipods,and free halo 3.. for the halo campaign im using this landing page my ad says: Get a Free Halo 3 Did you want get a free halo 3 just for participating? check it out! i tried a lot of different things but nothing works =( and in the satellite tv campaign ,adwords asks "Increase quality or bid $10.00 to activate"
I don't know what else you tried, but that one you are doing now definitely doesn't work. It is sort of like a salesman selling something without saying hello and introducting himself first. It's too fast! Landing pages for getting e-mail addresses rarely work, due to this one thing. Get rid of the first page. Tell them right then and there. I don't know about the others, but I hate having to click on another link, when they can tell me RIGHT THERE! Can you talk more about the game? Can you get a vido that plays it? Can you put in a cool article about it??? Brother, there's nothing there! Get rid of the black background. Most people don't like it.
