What if?

I got a question. When i first starte up Adsense, i clicked on my own ads once, and then i went to a friends house and clicked them once, I also checked my earnings on his comptuer aswell. So in total, I have "cheated" two times. Is it 100% sure that when I request my check they will ban me? Please reply guys.

Who can be 100% sure? If all your clicks will be "accidental" like those two, then you can expect to see ban before first payment. If those two are not important percent of total clicks you gain, then you can sleep well.

 

Your bound to get banned.. Congrats.

 

I think you should tell adsense, that you clicked those ads, my mistake.

That's my suggestion, to be on the safe side.

Or you can just forget it, and create "real clicks" from "real visitors".

So I am not sure what I should do next, as they clearly statted that they will not reply to my e-mail. Those 2 clicks made me exactly $0.18. So I dont know if Google considers that high or low....

 

Thats bad.. you shouldn't have contacted them... 2 Clicks isn't big amount of clicks... i think they record unusual amount of Clicks... now say Good Bye to Your Account...

 

Radz, they record clicks by the IP that you use when you login to your adsense account. So, it isnt necessarily a bad thing that I contacted them.

I just want to know IF they will every get back to me?

 

They will eventually get back to you. But NEVER, And I mean NEVER try and cheat Google, because the only one your cheating is your self. You get one chance with Google. Don't blow it!

 

I clicked few times in the beginning, and thats OK the guys at google are not stupid and know that people are pumped up waiting for first click so they do it instead of real click
they wont hurt you untill its 0.18 and few clicks , dont get me wrong this should be the last time you did that

Sticky even if they do read your mail they will be pleased you did so, the guys that work there are also human not robots so don't worry

1) No one knows for sure if you'll be banned
2) Sending them an e-mail was GOOD thing. You now have a record in the case of an appeal to show AdSense that you in fact clicked accidentally and notified them of the situation.

I wouldn't panic over this... you should be fine by sending that e-mail. If it was only 2 clicks, they will probably get invalidated and it'll be history... if it was more and obvious fraud was talking place, AdSense will ban and an appeal probably won't do anything.

As for now, continue developing the site.

its only 2 clicks nothing will happen, if you do it every day than you will get banned but you only did it twice
