soo.....after all this, does any one fancy clubbing together to either a) buy an existing island or b) have one built (a company in the UAE does that!!!)
There was an island off New Zealand where a British ship crashed and had to live there for a while and now it looks like quite a nice life/place. The reason there was a documentary on this was because the age of consent was something like 12, and they didn't believe rape was wrong. So the Brits found out about this (recently), went over there and investigated it. They found out that there was a lot of rape about 40 yrs ago, when the people involved were 10-20. I can't remember the outcome, but i think a few got arrested. Im guessing that the Brits were able to inforce law there because they might have given them some funding occassionaly, or might have been because they were all originally British.
