Hello, I am asking myself... What is we have a website whose activity doesn't allow constant feeding of fresh content? How does Google expect us to feed people constantly with fresh valuable content? I know it's good and members like it etc... But: not all sites can do it. It's because the nature of their activity. On some sites that I manage there is very thin possibility to upload fresh content even 2-3 times a week. How do you think? Is there such a thing as "evergreen content" that's always the same and "stands the test of time"? Google seems to drool so much for "fresh", like we're selling groceries or something...
Is Google your boss or your mom? Why should they dictate what you do? Do what you want, google is just a company whose job is to index the web, if they fail at that because of their own rules, it's their problem. Try to ignore them for a while, it's refreshing and liberating!
Your truly do not need fresh content to rank well. Honestly it just comes down to good backlinking and having a site people like
You can create a blog section on your blog and you can make blog posts regularly related to your site, industry news etc.
That's a good Question ! Same problem happens in my situation too, as we are unable to generate unique content on regular basics, as we will have some constant promotions in our site where we need to promote them! at last we penalized by Google( but we are on the way to find the solution to it). After some research over the situation & regular updates by Search Engines we just finalized our SEO path simply by Adding Static pages with static Content which reflects our dynamic content in the site,! Changes the internal linking system too & started working on regular basic ( no more spamming or huge submission). Now we are the in recover way ( based on latest performance by various search engines ) It working at last. I think u got my point !
Perhaps having built a large list of email subscribers is an answer, so you can create your own stream of visitors by emailing your list regularly. In any case I think having a large list, or at least a list for each website is like an insurance for bad days ahead So while google is sending your traffic you should take the opportunity to convert some of that traffic into new email subscribers by having subscribe forms at several places in your page's layout. I would recommend 3, top of content, bottom of content and top of sidebar.
are buying articles recommended? I just want to buy articles for my blog but don't know if this will work..
Yes, outsourcing your articles is the way to go if your not a writer... I use iwriter.com and thecontentauthority.com but their are a lot a places just research..
Google Panda is very stringent on content borrowing and article marketing... Panda punished a large number of article sites for content duplication and content farming. I want to avoid getting penalized for content farming and duplicate content. Building lists and running newsletters is great, provided that you already have an immense number of visitors. I think that since creating fresh content is so hard,... I need to focus more on the following: -YouTube marketing -site speed/loading time -improving Google Analytics key indicators: time on site, avg. pages per visit, bounce rate What else?
