and he will do that only after acknowledging that the US govt. is behind 9/11 and that really is no such thing as a terrorist.

I've seen and heard Ron Paul mention the "19 thugs, almost all Saudi" several times.
    • Are you honestly mis-informed, or intentionally spreading lies about Dr. Paul?

Are you a campaign worker for Ron Paul? The truth is one person, even the president, does not have the ability to magically make life better. An even more impossible task would be to get rid of the income tax. Just look at the brick wall we hit when we try to fix the social security scam. As soon as anybody arrives in the town of Washington, D.C. many of their ideals seem to be quite muzzled.

Yes, that's the problem. He's weaker than Hillary Clinton on National Security and Defense. To label someone as a "criminal" by American standards is to guarantee a certain amount of rights usually including detainment and trials. Groups like Al Qaeda are in many countries and are funded and given safe haven by some of these countries. One of their stated goals is to spread their culture and bring violence upon our culture and countries. These are enemies, NOT common criminals. The order of investigation, detainment, trial, and punishment does not stop these enemies and it certainly does not scare such people that accepted martyrdom as their fate. These people are not pirates or thieves. They have been openly political and their so called "crimes" have been to murder anything western. I don't want a president who doesn't have the cajones to stop our known enemies instead of waiting for an obvious crime scene.
Umm, yeah. The Swiss. The same country that profited from the deaths of millions of people 60 years ago. They sure do have a history of appeasing evil don't they? ;)

Is there anything in Paul's long political past, his personal finances or how he runs his campaign that backs up your paranoia about him? And even if there was some basis for it, which there is not, are you really happy voting for the lesser of two evils?

Bill Clinton captured and convicted the WTC bombers under his presidency. How many of the Al Queda members involved in 9/11 did Bush capture and convict?

Yes, we even funded them when Bin Laden radicalized them against the Soviet Union. The bulk of their funding comes from Saudi Arabia, but because those are close business allies of George and his father, we'll never affect regime change or democracy there.

Actually, they keep yelling, "Yankee go home, Yankee go home" but Fox News doesn't have cameras outside the Green Zone in Iraq talking to the people.

If you can justify killing thousands of civilians in pre-emptive war, you've made a case for your conviction on self-preservation, but you haven't made a case for humanity or the high moral ground.

Bush claims to be a Christian. I think he needs to ask, WWJD?

Oh, and if you want a pro-active President, ask him why people can walk across the northern and southern borders. Seems to me we could be infiltrated with Al Queda, and not even know it.

"What if Ron Paul wins in 2008?"

We are so conditioned to expect endless bad news, it's really hard to imagine what a truly free society would be like.
    • Certainly don't expect a utopia
    • A key point is de-centralization of government power...
    • ...restore states rights, and special interests can't "control everything" through one central place (Washington, DC)
