What if my site goes down

    Suppose i run a campaign and some clicks my ad and if the landing page goes down or does not respond will i loose my money ?

    Yes.

    You can use the API on a 3d server that checks your and if 404/500 turn off the ads.

    Use an uptime monitor to check your site and send you an SMS if it goes down.

    That's a bit low-tech though isn't it. Not very cool when you're in the pub chatting up someone and you get interrupted by sms. Full-on automation!

    It also gives you the difficult problem of whether to stay in the pub and lose loads of sales or go home and reboot your server. :)

    Abandoning an unfinished pint is equally as bad though. Maybe just do it like Shawn and spend 85 grand on servers that can be load balanced so you never go down in the first place.
