What if My Off-page SEO Primarily Relies on Comment Posts?

    Hello,

Currently due to Penguin and the new trends, the best possiblity to get backlinks ethically, yet manually is to post on blogs, article sites, forums etc.

So right now about 90 % of my backlinking off-page SEO is relying on comment posts with my link in it.
About 75 % of these links have my brand name, no keywords. This 75 % is exclusively my brand name.
Perhaps 90 % of these blog post links are "nofollow".

So what do you think: is this a powerful technique (some claim success only by proceeding this way). Should I do more things or less? Could this be enough for good Google SEO, reaching decent SERPs in Google?

    Thanks in advance!

No follow link does not passing any link juice, it will not help much on ranking. Even the comment link is do follow, the link juice will keep split when the number of comments increase.

Due to the algorithm keep changing, it is advise to switch focus on UX (User Experience), social media and purely go for whitehat game.

Comment posting alone will not help you in getting back links. These are mostly no follow links. You must use other off page SEO techniques to gain better fruitful links.
