What if Microsofts buys Google and other websites ??? (Youtube,Paypal, Ebay, etc.)

They don't have the money

From what i know

Microsoft is like 450 bilions company
Google is 350 bilions

You do the math

 

may be only if they sell their their companies and buy ebay and paypal

paypal+enay worth $XXX billion

 

It's a daydream

 

First off Microsoft would have to borrow money to buy yahoo, they make a lot of money but its not limitless. Then you have the issue of government blocking deals so no none of this will ever happen.

 

I think we would start to see another side of the internet

Actually market needs Competitors and this time Micorsoft have a strong competetor Google. If M'Soft buys Google he will be great in Online Marketting and Online related matters specially "Search". where Google has 67 % of market.

First of all microsoft cat buy google , yes THEY CANNOT BUY GOOGLE!!
If they were to find a diamond mine and they decide to take that whole mountain apart , get the whole diamonds , sell them , then and only then they can buy google LOL!

Truth of the matter a monopoly has been unsuccessful in the history of business. Its least efficient. And thats what we have now.

For Microsoft to enter the market of advertising and publishing services, forget smart pricing, every webmaster will be earning a lot more.

 

Microsoft could not buy Google, and Yahoo it would be a monopoly and it would also put a major hurting on small businesses. How ever Microsoft did try to buy Yahoo and may still be trying. Lets face it msn search or live what ever you want to call it sucks and there ppc system is a joke they need to buy yahoo to stay in the game. Also Google could never buy Microsoft and i could be wrong but in some way or another don't Microsoft own apple all ready lol. As far as money no one could buy Microsoft.

I doubt Paypal or Ebay would want to sell as they are still turning profits.

 

I don't get this whole monopoly thing. The first search engine ever created was a monopoly correct? Why were they able to open the site if they would have a monopoly? Also how would Microsoft owning google, yahoo, msn and live be a monopoly? There are plenty of other search engines out there so I wouldn't call it a monopoly. I guess I'm not 100% sure how monopoly's work can someone elaborate? I know this will never happen I'm just curious.

 

Microsoft currently has an offer to purchase yahoo, however yahoo has stated that they will give every offer/idea a thought. This includes not selling out, as well as selling to other companies.

 

They can't afford all those websites. No one can, and Ebay wouldn't sell paypal either.
